Seems like there are alot of people needing help this year for christmas, and i want everyone of you to know that u r not alone...I myself am having a hard time, as i am every year...i usually have my mother give me money to buy my 2 children christmas presents, the money she would buy me gifts with, so instead i go without to make sure the kids have what they need/want. I thought this year would be different. I spent 4 years in a verbally/physically abusive relationship with my childrens father...i finally got out of it last year when i turned him into the police for theft/robbery. He is now serving his 42 year sentence in prison. Thank god. I met a wonderful man who works very hard working 2 jobs, i quit my job waiting tables to go back to school, moved in with him and for once, felt like things were really working out for me and the children. Despite our extreme efforts to stay above water, my fiance has worked two jobs to take care of us and i have had to put school on hold again to babysit in my home for extra cash. Now we have recieved a foreclosure notice on our home, something goes wrong with our vehicle about once every two weeks, and i had to use the christmas money my mother gives me for the children to fill the propane tank so that we will have heat this winter. My fiance has 2 children of his own that he pays out 800 dollars a month in child support for, not to mention he pays all doctor bills, prescriptions, and hospital bills for them. All of our bills are behind and i just dont know how we are going to be able to afford anything for christmas. I know that there are plenty of people much worse off than us, I know i have been much worse off than i am right now. But if anyone knows of a christmas sponsoring program or charity that could help even a little bit, id greatly appreciate the help. We are doing our best here and its so easy to get discouraged when everything youre doing isnt enough. I try to keep high hopes and think positive, at least we have a loving man in our lives now, we have each other and we have our health. Always remember that everyone who needs help this christmas. Even if you are having trouble, you at least have your family. :)
